Scott is a research fellow in the School of Mathematics & Statistics at the University of Glasgow. Scott completed his PhD at the University of Aberdeen in 2013, where his research focused on catchment-scale hydrological processes, seeking to assess what impacts environmental change have on upland catchment systems. He then moved to the University of Surrey in 2013 where he worked on a NERC funded project, seeking to assess the impacts of urban growth on hydrological and water quality dynamics in the Thames Basin. Scott moved to Glasgow in January 2016, where he is primarily working on our partner EPSRC project, WEFWEBs
Scott’s primary role on Stepping Up is identifying the necessary environmental data, flows and dynamics that underpin the water, energy and food systems at contrasting spatial scales to fit the needs of the ABM and case studies.
